MENLO PARK, CALIFORNIA / RankWire.AI / – Meta has unveiled the latest additions to its AI lineup with the launch of Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, a new suite of sophisticated artificial intelligence models. These systems are designed to support software development, AI agents, and intricate daily tasks, offering assistance in areas such as leases, insurance claims, financial data, and application creation. Meta announced the release of Muse Wonder via its Model API and Muse Code on October 12, with Muse Wonder Full becoming accessible to users holding eligible Muse Code subscriptions.

Targeting multi-step tasks rather than simple responses, the models are capable of planning workflows, utilizing digital tools, and distributing larger assignments among specialized sub-agents. They also function across various platforms, including browsers, desktop applications, and mobile devices. Meta engineered the system to recover gracefully when a chosen method fails. Supporting context windows of approximately one million tokens, the models can handle extensive documents, codebases, and other sizable materials within a single session.
Additionally, Meta introduced Active Memory and Active Focus features alongside the Wonder models. Active Memory retains valuable information from previous interactions and retrieves it when necessary. Active Focus enables an AI agent to persist through complex problems and adapt its approach if errors occur. The models are capable of requesting clarification when instructions lack important details and seeking approval before executing sensitive or critical actions. These enhancements aim to facilitate longer working periods without users needing to restart tasks repeatedly.
Meta’s new models bolster agent and coding functionalities
Pricing for Muse Wonder is set at $4 per million input tokens via the Meta Model API, with output costs at $20 per million tokens and cached input at $0.20 per million tokens. Instead of separate API fees, Meta offers Muse Wonder Full through paid Muse Code plans. The company provides a Power Usage plan at $50 monthly and a Maximum Usage plan at $200 per month, targeting developers requiring increased access for intensive coding tasks.
Meta shared benchmark outcomes related to software engineering, coding agents, and long-term technical operations. The results included tests such as DeepSWE and SWE-Marathon, with both models evaluated at maximum reasoning effort. Muse Wonder achieved an Intelligence Index score of 52, while Muse Wonder Full scored 56. These scores surpass Meta’s previous Muse Spark models on the evaluator’s scale, indicating a clear improvement in reasoning capabilities.
Safety and privacy measures accompany the new launch
Meta emphasizes that the Wonder models incorporate protections against privacy breaches, harmful requests, and cybersecurity threats. They are trained to avoid revealing private information without user consent and to reject harmful requests, while still supporting legitimate security functions. Developers retain the ability to use the models for identifying vulnerabilities in their own software and enhancing security systems. Meta is assessing its most advanced AI under its Superintelligence Scaling Framework and intends to publish further details about safety testing for these new models.
This release follows a broader reorganization of Meta’s AI efforts that began roughly 14 months prior. The company states Muse Wonder builds upon the technical base established with Muse Spark. Development relied on computing resources at Meta’s Prometheus data center. The company also plans to integrate Muse Wonder’s technology into additional features within the Muse platform, starting with subscribers. While developers can already access Muse Wonder, Muse Wonder Full remains available through qualifying Muse Code subscription plans.
